ARIZONA COMPLEX LEAGUE

KAI WYNYARD - ACL RANGERS

Queenslander Kai Wynyard, after making his season debut last week, appeared in two games for the ACL Rangers, the rookie affiliate of the Texas Rangers, pitching a combined 4.0 innings and earning the win in one game - his third win of the year so far.

On June 14, in a 6-3 win against the ACL White Sox at Surprise Stadium, Wynyard came in as the relieving pitcher for starter Ivan Oviedo at the top of the fifth inning, seeing a three-up, three-down dig. The same happened through the sixth inning, and almost through the seventh except for giving up a double, as he was replaced by Alberto Mota heading into the eighth inning.

In a 15-14 extra-innings win on June 18, Wynyard came into the game during the bottom of the eighth inning against the ACL Royals at Surprise Stadium to replace Adrian Rodriguez where he immediately gave up a run as a result of a wild pitch before striking out the final batter for the third out.

He stayed in the game to begin the ninth inning with the ACL Rangers looking to hold onto a 14-10 lead, and, with two strikeouts to begin the bottom half, but hit the next batter, before giving up a singe and another base on balls before being substituted out for Moto.

RILEY YEATMAN - ACL PADRES

After making his season debut last week, this week, South Australian Riley Yeatman appeared in one game for the ACL Padres, the rookie affiliate of the San Diego Padres, pitching 2.1 innings and earning the save.

At Peoria Stadium on June 16, in a seven-inning 7-1 victory against the ACL Rangers, Yeatman entered the game during the top half of the fifth inning, replacing Adrian Luna with two outs. Despite a base on balls to the first batter he faced, Yeatman got out of the innings with a swinging strikeout.

It was a three-up, three-down top half of the sixth inning that included two strikeouts. Although Yeatman gave up a lead-off single to begin the top of the seventh inning, the next batter grounded into a double play, and not even a base on balls could deter Yeatman as he saw the final batter ground out to finish the game.

BEN WALMSLEY - ACL REDS

Queenslander Ben Walmsley, after making his season - and Minor League Baseball - debut last week, appeared in one game for the FCL Red, the rookie affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds this week, pitching 1.1 innings in relief, giving up two runs on three hits with two strikeouts.

On June 17, in a seven-inning 5-4 win, Walmsley entered the game the bottom of the first inning, replacing starter Ryan Olson. Walmsley gave up a two-out two-RBI double, as well as two walks and a single to the first four batters he faced, giving up three runs in the process that included a wild pitch. However, he got out of the inning with a strikeout.

The bottom of the second inning saw a single given up amongst the three outs ahead of being replaced by Nestor Lorant at the start of the bottom half of the third inning.

LIAM SPENCE - ACL CUBS

Victorian Liam Spence made his rookie league season debut this past week, appearing in two games for the ACL Cubs, the rookie affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

On June 17, against the ACL Reds at Sloan Park, Spence went zero for two after he entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Cristian Hernandez in the bottom of the fifth inning of a seven-inning 5-4 defeat. On June 18, against the ACL Athletics at Hohokam Stadium, Spence went zero for three with a sixth-inning base on balls in the 6-2 win.

FLORIDA COMPLEX LEAGUE

NIKAU POUAKA-GREGO - FCL PHILLIES

Victorian Nikau Pouaka-Grego, following his season debut last week, appeared in five games throughout this past week for the FCL Phillies, the rookie affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

First up, on June 13, in a 15-9 win against the FCL Tigers at Carpenter Complex, Pouaka-Grego went three for four with three runs, three RBIs and a base on balls. He was walked in his first plate appearance in the bottom of the first inning, scoring on a Adony Meija two-run home run.

He hit a two-out bases-clearing double into left field in the fourth inning, before scoring himself on a Oscar Gonzalez single into left field. Pouaka-Grego hit his second two-out double of the game in the fifth inning, into left field, and made his way to third base via a wild pitch before the inning ended. His third hit came via a single to centrefield, making it to second base on an error, before scoring on a Randy Vasquez triple.

On June 14, in a 7-3 loss, Pouaka-Grego went zero for four against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, before bouncing back with a one for four game in a 10-5 loss to the FCL Blue Jays on June 16 at Carpenter Complex where he had a run and two RBIs, courtesy of a two-out two-run home run over the right centrefield fence in the eighth inning.

In a 10-4 victory against FCL Yankees at Yankee Complex on June 17, Pouaka-Grego went one for three with a first-inning base on balls. He was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, and had a two-out single in the eighth inning, though didn't advance past first base in either instance as the final out was made.

On June 18, against the FCL Yankees at Carpenter Complex, he went one for three in the 9-1 loss, hitting a fifth-inning single into right field, stealing second base before the inning was complete. During a play at the top of the sixth, Pouaka-Grego was injured and substituted for Oscar Gonzalez.

SOLOMON MAGUIRE - FCL PIRATES

New South Welshman Solomon Maguire appeared in two games for the FCL Pirates, the rookie affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, as the side played three series, one against the FCL Red Sox, the FCL Rays, and another against the FCL Orioles.

On June 13, against the FCL Red Sox at JetBlue Park, Maguire had a zero for four game with a run and a base on balls. In the top of the fifth inning, he reached base on a fielder's choice, getting to third base before the inning was over, however, he had a lead-off walk to begin the top of the seventh inning, making it around the bases and eventually home from singles to three of the following four batters.

On June 16, in a 13-1 loss to the FCL Rays at Pirate City Complex, Maguire went three for four with a run. He hit a triple into centrefield in the bottom of the third inning, scoring on a wild pitch. He hit a single into right field in the sixth inning and stole second base, while hitting another single into the same area in the eighth which saw him stuck at third base as the inning ended.

Against the FCL Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium on June 17, Maguire went one for four in a seven-inning 6-1 win, hitting a single into left field in the third inning, making his way to second base before the inning ended.

In the return game on June 18 at Pirate City Complex, Maguire went one for four in a seven-inning 12-0 win, hitting a third-inning single into right field though was out at third base.

JAKE BURNS - FCL CARDINALS

New South Welshman Jake Burns appeared in two games for the FCL Cardinals, the rookie affiliate of the St Louis Cardinals, as the team was at home and away during the past week.

First up, on June 14 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, Burns went zero for five in a 9-3 victory against the FCL Mets, however, on June 17, at The Ballpark of Palm Beaches against the FCL Nationals, he had a zero for one game with a run and two walks in the 4-3 win.

He was first issued a base on balls at the top of the first innings, though was caught trying to steal second base, and was walked again at the top of the third inning where he successfully stole second base, before the inning came to an end.

Leading off at the top of the sixth inning, Burns reached base on a throwing error by the shortstop, and made his way to third base on a fielding error as a result of contact by Luis Pino. Another fielding error saw Romtres Cabrera reach base, which allowed for Burns to plate a run and put the FCL Cardinals up 2-1. Burns was substituted out at the bottom of the sixth innings and didn't return to the game.

CLAYTON CAMPBELL - FCL TIGERS

New South Welshman Clayton Campbell, after making his Minor League Baseball debut last week, appeared in three games for the FCL Tigers, the rookie affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, in three separate series.

Firstly, on June 13 at Carpenter Complex in a 15-9 loss to the FCL Phillies, Campbell went zero for two before he was replaced by Adinso Reyes.

On June 17, against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, Campbell entered the game at the bottom of the eighth inning and went zero for one with a lead-off walk in the ninth inning. He advanced on the bases due to a walk, and a hit by pitch, before scoring on a J.D. McLaughlin single as the FCL Tigers won 15-9.

Campbell went zero for four on June 18 in a 4-3 defeat to the FCL Blue Jays at Tigertown.

SINGLE A

JOSH GESSNER - DOWN EAST WOOD DUCKS

After making his season debut last week for the Texas Rangers' rookie affiliate, New South Welshman Josh Gessner was called up to the organisation's Single A affiliate, the Down East Wood Ducks, and appeared in one game for the week.

On June 16, in a 5-2 victory at Bank of the James Stadium, Gessner earned the win as he came into the game at the bottom of the fifth inning to replace Jackson Leath, pitching 3.2 innings for three hits, one run and four strikeouts.

While he hit the first batter he faced, Gessner had the next three batters out in succession. At the bottom of the sixth inning, he gave up a single and a base on balls, with neither eventuating into runs as Gessner steadied with two strikeouts.

The bottom of the seventh inning saw Gessner give up a lead-off walk, before a double scored that runner. Another hit by pitch didn't faze him however as he got out of the inning with the remaining couple of outs. The bottom of the eighth inning saw the first two batters reach base, and despite the next two batters being sent back to the dugout, a pitching change was made with Gessner replaced by Damian Mendoza.

CHRIS BURKE - CLEARWATER THRESHERS

Victorian Chris Burke appeared in three games this week for the Clearwater Threshers, the Single A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in a home series against he Palm Beach Cardinals at BayCare Ballpark.

On June 15, in a 5- loss, Burke went zero for two with a lead-off walk at the bottom of the sixth inning, though was left there as the next three batters all went out.

In a 4-0 win on June 17, Burke went zero for three, and on June 19 which resulted in a 6-2 victory, he went zero for four at the plate.

RIXON WINGROVE - JERSEY SHORE BLUECLAWS

New South Welshman Rixon Wingrove appeared in five games for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, the High A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in a home series at ShoreTown Ballpark against the Aberdeen IronBirds.

On June 14, in a 4-0 loss, Wingrove went one for two with a base on balls. He was walked in the fourth inning, ending up at second base before the inning was over, and in the sixth inning, hit a single into right field before the next three batters were all retired in succession.

On June 15, in a 3-2 loss, Wingrove went one for four with an RBI courtesy of a two-out single into centrefield that scored Jared Carr. He went zero for four in a 10-4 win on June 16.

It was a zero for three showing with a run and a base on balls on June 17 in a result where the BlueClaws fell 9-5. Wingrove earned a ninth-inning walk, advancing on back-to-back singles, before scoring after Baron Radcliff was hit by a pitch.

In the last game of the series on June 19, Wingrove went two for four with two RBIs in the 7-6 loss. With bases loaded in the first inning, he was it by a pitch, which saw Carlos De La Cruz score, advancing to third base on a double by D.J. Stewart, however, didn't advance as the next three batters fell.

Wingrove hit a two-out double in the second innings that scored Ethan Wilson before the inning was over, and a single in the bottom of the ninth inning before he was replaced by a pinch-runner.

JARRYD DALE - FORT WAYNE TINCAPS

Victorian Jarryd Dale appeared in five games for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, in an away series to the Lansing Lugnuts at Jackson Field.

The first game of the series, on June 14, in a 3-1 win, Dale went two for four with an RBI. He hit a two-out single into left field at the top of the first inning that scored Robert Hassell III, and another single into left field in the ninth inning, making it to second base before the inning was over.

On June 15, in a 9-5 loss, Dale went zero for four at the plate, though did earn a base on balls in the fifth inning. On June 16, Dale was promoted to the top of the order for the 9-4 victory, and went two for four with two runs.

Dale hit a lead-off single into right field to get the game going at the top of the first inning, advancing to third base on a Hassell III single, and scoring on a throwing error by the catcher attempting to catch Hassell III stealing second base. Dale made it to first base during the second inning, with a wild pitch seeing him end up at second base, before a a Lucas Dunn double had Dale crossing the plate and scoring.

Dale went zero for four in a 6-5 loss on June 18, though had a three for six game on June 19 where he had a run and an RBI in the 14-0 win. The TinCaps piled on eight runs at the top of the first inning, with Dale hitting a double into left field that scored Dunn. Dale then crossed home plate when Agustin Ruiz hit a three-run blast over the fence in right centrefield.

Dale continued his game with a lead-off infield single, but attempted to go to second base on the fielding attempt and was tagged out. He had a seventh-inning single into left field and was stuck at third base when the final out was made.

JACK O'LOUGHLIN - WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS

South Australian Jack O'Loughlin appeared in two games for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Detroit Tigers' High A affiliate, in an away series to the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park, pitching a combined 3.2 innings.

On June 14, in a 8-7 win, O'Loughlin entered the game with two outs at the bottom of the third inning, replacing starter Dylan Smith, and needed just one pitch to claim the final out to end the innings.

Onto the bottom of the fourth innings, he hit the first batter, before a base on balls, a single, and a sacrifice fly saw a run be scored, as he gave up another base on balls before finding the final out of the innings. He was replaced by Ted Stuka on the mound for the next innings.

The next game O'Loughlin appeared in was on June 18, an 8-2 loss, coming into the game early, at the bottom of the first inning as starter Carlos Guzman had given up five runs already. O'Loughlin walked the first batter he faced, with back-to-back singles, another walk, and a couple of wild pitches all contributed to the opposition lead extending before he found the final out.

It was a three-up, three-down second inning that included two looking strikeouts, as was the third inning, though with two swinging strikeouts. He was replaced by RJ Petit to begin the bottom half of the fourth innings.

BLAKE TOWNSEND - EVERETT AQUASOX

Victorian Blake Townsend continued his run with the Everett AquaSox, the High A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, appearing in two games of a home series at Funko Field against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

His first appearance came on June 14, in a 5-4 win where he earned a hold as he came on to pitch in the top of the seventh inning, replacing Max Roberts.

In his first inning on the mound, he saw four batters, only allowing one runner as a result of a fielding error, and it was a similar situation in the eighth inning that began with a strikeout, allowing just one runner as a result of a hit by pitch. He was replaced at the top of the ninth inning by Isaiah Campbell.

On June 18, in a 5-3 win, Townsend came on as relief for starting pitcher Prelander Berroa to begin the top of the sixth inning. He saw the first batter ground out, before giving up two walks and a double within the next three batters.

A fielding error saw one run score before Townsend struck out the next batter, though he would give up another run as a result of a passed ball, before the final out was made. He was replaced at the beginning of the next inning by Roberts.

West Australian Alex Hall appeared in four games for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the High A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, as the side was away to the Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond.

On June 15, in a 5-0 loss, Hall went one for three, a lead-off double being his lone hit of the ballgame, unable to move any further as the next three batters were each struck out.

Hall went zero for three in a 13-4 loss on June 16, and had the same result on June 17 in a 3-0 defeat. He again had a zero for three night on June 18, though earned a base on balls at the top of he fourth inning, making his way around the bases before scoring on a Arbert Cipion single.

DOUBLE A

CURTIS MEAD - MONTGOMERY BISCUITS

South Australian Curtis Mead appeared in five games for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, in an away series to the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field.

Mead went one for four in the opening game of the series on June 14, an 8-2 loss, with a run and an RBI, courtesy of a solo home run over the fence in right field to lead-off the top of the ninth inning.

Mead went two for four in a 9-0 loss on June 15, hitting a two-out ground-rule double into left centrefield in the first inning, and a lead-off double into left field in the fourth inning, the latter of which he ended up at third base, but in neither instance came home.

He had a one for three game with a base on balls on June 17 which ended as a 5-0 loss. He hit a single to right field in the third inning and stole second base before the final out, and earned a walk in the eighth inning, but didn't advance further.

On June 18, in a 6-4 loss, Mead went two for four with a run and an RBI. He reached base on a fielder's choice in the first inning and made it to second base before the inning was over, before hitting a single to left field in the third inning, ending up at third base as the inning ended. At the top of the fifth inning, he hit a solo home run to left field, extending what was a 4-2 Biscuits lead at the time.

The final game of the series on June 19 - which ended in a 7-2 loss -saw Mead go two for four with two runs and two RBIs, both instances coming via solo home runs in the first and ninth innings.

AARON WHITEFIELD - ROCKET CITY TRASH PANDAS

Queenslander Aaron Whitefield appeared in all six games for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, in a home series at Toyota Field against the Montgomery Biscuits.

In an 8-2 win on June 14, Whitefield went one for four with a run after hitting a single into right field, stealing second base, and scoring on a Orlando Martinez single into right field.

On June 15, in a 9-0 win, Whitefield went one for four with a run, having hit a lead-of single in the bottom of the sixth inning, advancing to third base on a Preston Palmeiro single, and scoring on a three-run home run by Jeremiah Jackson.

Whitefield went zero for five in a 19-4 loss on June 16, though bounced back on June 17 with a two for five game with two runs in the 5-0 victory.

Whitefield hit a double into left field in the bottom of the first inning, stealing third base, and scoring on a Martinez single, while he had another double to lead-off the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly from Palmeiro.

On June 18, Whitefield went zero for three with two runs and a base on balls in a 6-4 victory. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached base on a throwing error and scored on a Martinez triple to centrfield. He was walked in the seventh inning, and scored on a Martinez double to right field.

In the final game of the series on June 19, he went one for four with a run in the 7-2 victory, hitting a double into right field to lead-off the bottom of the eighth inning, scoring on a Martinez single.

West Australian Robbie Glendinning appeared in four games for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, in an home series at Arvest Ballpark against the Arkansas Travelers.

On June 14, in a 7-5 win, Glendinning went one for four with a run and an RBI, hitting a single to left field in the fourth inning that scored John Rave, before coming home on a Jake Means double.

In a 5-4 loss on June 15, Glendinning went zero for three, and on June 17, in a 13-2 defeat, went zero for three with a run and a base on balls after a lead-off walk to begin the bottom of the seventh inning, ending up at third base on a Ryan Grotjohn double, scoring on contact by Tucker Bradley.

The final game of the week for Glendinning saw him go zero for three in a 9-0 win on June 18 with a run and a base on balls, being walked in the first inning, and coming home as a result of a walk also.

Victorian Liam Spence made his rookie league season debut this past week, appearing in two games for the ACL Cubs, the rookie affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

On June 17, against the ACL Reds at Sloan Park, Spence went zero for two after he entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Cristian Hernandez in the bottom of the fifth inning of a seven-inning 5-4 defeat. On June 18, against the ACL Athletics at Hohokam Stadium, Spence went zero for three with a sixth-inning base on balls in the 6-2 win.

NIKAU POUAKA-GREGO - FCL PHILLIES

Victorian Nikau Pouaka-Grego, following his season debut last week, appeared in five games throughout this past week for the FCL Phillies, the rookie affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

First up, on June 13, in a 15-9 win against the FCL Tigers at Carpenter Complex, Pouaka-Grego went three for four with three runs, three RBIs and a base on balls. He was walked in his first plate appearance in the bottom of the first inning, scoring on a Adony Meija two-run home run.

He hit a two-out bases-clearing double into left field in the fourth inning, before scoring himself on a Oscar Gonzalez single into left field. Pouaka-Grego hit his second two-out double of the game in the fifth inning, into left field, and made his way to third base via a wild pitch before the inning ended. His third hit came via a single to centrefield, making it to second base on an error, before scoring on a Randy Vasquez triple.

On June 14, in a 7-3 loss, Pouaka-Grego went zero for four against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, before bouncing back with a one for four game in a 10-5 loss to the FCL Blue Jays on June 16 at Carpenter Complex where he had a run and two RBIs, courtesy of a two-out two-run home run over the right centrefield fence in the eighth inning.

In a 10-4 victory against FCL Yankees at Yankee Complex on June 17, Pouaka-Grego went one for three with a first-inning base on balls. He was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, and had a two-out single in the eighth inning, though didn't advance past first base in either instance as the final out was made.

On June 18, against the FCL Yankees at Carpenter Complex, he went one for three in the 9-1 loss, hitting a fifth-inning single into right field, stealing second base before the inning was complete. During a play at the top of the sixth, Pouaka-Grego was injured and substituted for Oscar Gonzalez.

SOLOMON MAGUIRE - FCL PIRATES

New South Welshman Solomon Maguire appeared in two games for the FCL Pirates, the rookie affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, as the side played three series, one against the FCL Red Sox, the FCL Rays, and another against the FCL Orioles.

On June 13, against the FCL Red Sox at JetBlue Park, Maguire had a zero for four game with a run and a base on balls. In the top of the fifth inning, he reached base on a fielder's choice, getting to third base before the inning was over, however, he had a lead-off walk to begin the top of the seventh inning, making it around the bases and eventually home from singles to three of the following four batters.

On June 16, in a 13-1 loss to the FCL Rays at Pirate City Complex, Maguire went three for four with a run. He hit a triple into centrefield in the bottom of the third inning, scoring on a wild pitch. He hit a single into right field in the sixth inning and stole second base, while hitting another single into the same area in the eighth which saw him stuck at third base as the inning ended.

Against the FCL Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium on June 17, Maguire went one for four in a seven-inning 6-1 win, hitting a single into left field in the third inning, making his way to second base before the inning ended.

In the return game on June 18 at Pirate City Complex, Maguire went one for four in a seven-inning 12-0 win, hitting a third-inning single into right field though was out at third base.

JAKE BURNS - FCL CARDINALS

New South Welshman Jake Burns appeared in two games for the FCL Cardinals, the rookie affiliate of the St Louis Cardinals, as the team was at home and away during the past week.

First up, on June 14 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, Burns went zero for five in a 9-3 victory against the FCL Mets, however, on June 17, at The Ballpark of Palm Beaches against the FCL Nationals, he had a zero for one game with a run and two walks in the 4-3 win.

He was first issued a base on balls at the top of the first innings, though was caught trying to steal second base, and was walked again at the top of the third inning where he successfully stole second base, before the inning came to an end.

Leading off at the top of the sixth inning, Burns reached base on a throwing error by the shortstop, and made his way to third base on a fielding error as a result of contact by Luis Pino. Another fielding error saw Romtres Cabrera reach base, which allowed for Burns to plate a run and put the FCL Cardinals up 2-1. Burns was substituted out at the bottom of the sixth innings and didn't return to the game.

CLAYTON CAMPBELL - FCL TIGERS

New South Welshman Clayton Campbell, after making his Minor League Baseball debut last week, appeared in three games for the FCL Tigers, the rookie affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, in three separate series.

Firstly, on June 13 at Carpenter Complex in a 15-9 loss to the FCL Phillies, Campbell went zero for two before he was replaced by Adinso Reyes.

On June 17, against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, Campbell entered the game at the bottom of the eighth inning and went zero for one with a lead-off walk in the ninth inning. He advanced on the bases due to a walk, and a hit by pitch, before scoring on a J.D. McLaughlin single as the FCL Tigers won 15-9.

Campbell went zero for four on June 18 in a 4-3 defeat to the FCL Blue Jays at Tigertown.

SINGLE A

JOSH GESSNER - DOWN EAST WOOD DUCKS

After making his season debut last week for the Texas Rangers' rookie affiliate, New South Welshman Josh Gessner was called up to the organisation's Single A affiliate, the Down East Wood Ducks, and appeared in one game for the week.

On June 16, in a 5-2 victory at Bank of the James Stadium, Gessner earned the win as he came into the game at the bottom of the fifth inning to replace Jackson Leath, pitching 3.2 innings for three hits, one run and four strikeouts.

While he hit the first batter he faced, Gessner had the next three batters out in succession. At the bottom of the sixth inning, he gave up a single and a base on balls, with neither eventuating into runs as Gessner steadied with two strikeouts.

The bottom of the seventh inning saw Gessner give up a lead-off walk, before a double scored that runner. Another hit by pitch didn't faze him however as he got out of the inning with the remaining couple of outs. The bottom of the eighth inning saw the first two batters reach base, and despite the next two batters being sent back to the dugout, a pitching change was made with Gessner replaced by Damian Mendoza.

CHRIS BURKE - CLEARWATER THRESHERS

Victorian Chris Burke appeared in three games this week for the Clearwater Threshers, the Single A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in a home series against he Palm Beach Cardinals at BayCare Ballpark.

On June 15, in a 5- loss, Burke went zero for two with a lead-off walk at the bottom of the sixth inning, though was left there as the next three batters all went out.

In a 4-0 win on June 17, Burke went zero for three, and on June 19 which resulted in a 6-2 victory, he went zero for four at the plate.

RIXON WINGROVE - JERSEY SHORE BLUECLAWS

New South Welshman Rixon Wingrove appeared in five games for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, the High A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in a home series at ShoreTown Ballpark against the Aberdeen IronBirds.

On June 14, in a 4-0 loss, Wingrove went one for two with a base on balls. He was walked in the fourth inning, ending up at second base before the inning was over, and in the sixth inning, hit a single into right field before the next three batters were all retired in succession.

On June 15, in a 3-2 loss, Wingrove went one for four with an RBI courtesy of a two-out single into centrefield that scored Jared Carr. He went zero for four in a 10-4 win on June 16.

It was a zero for three showing with a run and a base on balls on June 17 in a result where the BlueClaws fell 9-5. Wingrove earned a ninth-inning walk, advancing on back-to-back singles, before scoring after Baron Radcliff was hit by a pitch.

In the last game of the series on June 19, Wingrove went two for four with two RBIs in the 7-6 loss. With bases loaded in the first inning, he was it by a pitch, which saw Carlos De La Cruz score, advancing to third base on a double by D.J. Stewart, however, didn't advance as the next three batters fell.

Wingrove hit a two-out double in the second innings that scored Ethan Wilson before the inning was over, and a single in the bottom of the ninth inning before he was replaced by a pinch-runner.

JARRYD DALE - FORT WAYNE TINCAPS

Victorian Jarryd Dale appeared in five games for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, in an away series to the Lansing Lugnuts at Jackson Field.

The first game of the series, on June 14, in a 3-1 win, Dale went two for four with an RBI. He hit a two-out single into left field at the top of the first inning that scored Robert Hassell III, and another single into left field in the ninth inning, making it to second base before the inning was over.

On June 15, in a 9-5 loss, Dale went zero for four at the plate, though did earn a base on balls in the fifth inning. On June 16, Dale was promoted to the top of the order for the 9-4 victory, and went two for four with two runs.

Dale hit a lead-off single into right field to get the game going at the top of the first inning, advancing to third base on a Hassell III single, and scoring on a throwing error by the catcher attempting to catch Hassell III stealing second base. Dale made it to first base during the second inning, with a wild pitch seeing him end up at second base, before a a Lucas Dunn double had Dale crossing the plate and scoring.

Dale went zero for four in a 6-5 loss on June 18, though had a three for six game on June 19 where he had a run and an RBI in the 14-0 win. The TinCaps piled on eight runs at the top of the first inning, with Dale hitting a double into left field that scored Dunn. Dale then crossed home plate when Agustin Ruiz hit a three-run blast over the fence in right centrefield.

Dale continued his game with a lead-off infield single, but attempted to go to second base on the fielding attempt and was tagged out. He had a seventh-inning single into left field and was stuck at third base when the final out was made.

JACK O'LOUGHLIN - WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS

South Australian Jack O'Loughlin appeared in two games for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Detroit Tigers' High A affiliate, in an away series to the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park, pitching a combined 3.2 innings.

On June 14, in a 8-7 win, O'Loughlin entered the game with two outs at the bottom of the third inning, replacing starter Dylan Smith, and needed just one pitch to claim the final out to end the innings.

Onto the bottom of the fourth innings, he hit the first batter, before a base on balls, a single, and a sacrifice fly saw a run be scored, as he gave up another base on balls before finding the final out of the innings. He was replaced by Ted Stuka on the mound for the next innings.

The next game O'Loughlin appeared in was on June 18, an 8-2 loss, coming into the game early, at the bottom of the first inning as starter Carlos Guzman had given up five runs already. O'Loughlin walked the first batter he faced, with back-to-back singles, another walk, and a couple of wild pitches all contributed to the opposition lead extending before he found the final out.

It was a three-up, three-down second inning that included two looking strikeouts, as was the third inning, though with two swinging strikeouts. He was replaced by RJ Petit to begin the bottom half of the fourth innings.

BLAKE TOWNSEND - EVERETT AQUASOX

Victorian Blake Townsend continued his run with the Everett AquaSox, the High A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, appearing in two games of a home series at Funko Field against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

His first appearance came on June 14, in a 5-4 win where he earned a hold as he came on to pitch in the top of the seventh inning, replacing Max Roberts.

In his first inning on the mound, he saw four batters, only allowing one runner as a result of a fielding error, and it was a similar situation in the eighth inning that began with a strikeout, allowing just one runner as a result of a hit by pitch. He was replaced at the top of the ninth inning by Isaiah Campbell.

On June 18, in a 5-3 win, Townsend came on as relief for starting pitcher Prelander Berroa to begin the top of the sixth inning. He saw the first batter ground out, before giving up two walks and a double within the next three batters.

A fielding error saw one run score before Townsend struck out the next batter, though he would give up another run as a result of a passed ball, before the final out was made. He was replaced at the beginning of the next inning by Roberts.

On June 15, in a 5-0 loss, Hall went one for three, a lead-off double being his lone hit of the ballgame, unable to move any further as the next three batters were each struck out.

Hall went zero for three in a 13-4 loss on June 16, and had the same result on June 17 in a 3-0 defeat. He again had a zero for three night on June 18, though earned a base on balls at the top of he fourth inning, making his way around the bases before scoring on a Arbert Cipion single.

CURTIS MEAD - MONTGOMERY BISCUITS

South Australian Curtis Mead appeared in five games for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, in an away series to the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field.

Mead went one for four in the opening game of the series on June 14, an 8-2 loss, with a run and an RBI, courtesy of a solo home run over the fence in right field to lead-off the top of the ninth inning.

Mead went two for four in a 9-0 loss on June 15, hitting a two-out ground-rule double into left centrefield in the first inning, and a lead-off double into left field in the fourth inning, the latter of which he ended up at third base, but in neither instance came home.

He had a one for three game with a base on balls on June 17 which ended as a 5-0 loss. He hit a single to right field in the third inning and stole second base before the final out, and earned a walk in the eighth inning, but didn't advance further.

On June 18, in a 6-4 loss, Mead went two for four with a run and an RBI. He reached base on a fielder's choice in the first inning and made it to second base before the inning was over, before hitting a single to left field in the third inning, ending up at third base as the inning ended. At the top of the fifth inning, he hit a solo home run to left field, extending what was a 4-2 Biscuits lead at the time.

The final game of the series on June 19 - which ended in a 7-2 loss -saw Mead go two for four with two runs and two RBIs, both instances coming via solo home runs in the first and ninth innings.

AARON WHITEFIELD - ROCKET CITY TRASH PANDAS

Queenslander Aaron Whitefield appeared in all six games for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, in a home series at Toyota Field against the Montgomery Biscuits.

In an 8-2 win on June 14, Whitefield went one for four with a run after hitting a single into right field, stealing second base, and scoring on a Orlando Martinez single into right field.

On June 15, in a 9-0 win, Whitefield went one for four with a run, having hit a lead-of single in the bottom of the sixth inning, advancing to third base on a Preston Palmeiro single, and scoring on a three-run home run by Jeremiah Jackson.

Whitefield went zero for five in a 19-4 loss on June 16, though bounced back on June 17 with a two for five game with two runs in the 5-0 victory.

Whitefield hit a double into left field in the bottom of the first inning, stealing third base, and scoring on a Martinez single, while he had another double to lead-off the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly from Palmeiro.

On June 18, Whitefield went zero for three with two runs and a base on balls in a 6-4 victory. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached base on a throwing error and scored on a Martinez triple to centrfield. He was walked in the seventh inning, and scored on a Martinez double to right field.

In the final game of the series on June 19, he went one for four with a run in the 7-2 victory, hitting a double into right field to lead-off the bottom of the eighth inning, scoring on a Martinez single.

ROBBIE GLENDINNING - NORTHWEST ARKANSAS NATURALS

West Australian Robbie Glendinning appeared in four games for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, in an home series at Arvest Ballpark against the Arkansas Travelers.

On June 14, in a 7-5 win, Glendinning went one for four with a run and an RBI, hitting a single to left field in the fourth inning that scored John Rave, before coming home on a Jake Means double.

In a 5-4 loss on June 15, Glendinning went zero for three, and on June 17, in a 13-2 defeat, went zero for three with a run and a base on balls after a lead-off walk to begin the bottom of the seventh inning, ending up at third base on a Ryan Grotjohn double, scoring on contact by Tucker Bradley.

The final game of the week for Glendinning saw him go zero for three in a 9-0 win on June 18 with a run and a base on balls, being walked in the first inning, and coming home as a result of a walk also.

More Australians were able to showcase their talent with the rookie leagues continuing into its second week with plenty of success while Curtis Mead hit four home runs across the past week - including two in the one game.

KAI WYNYARD - ACL RANGERS

Queenslander Kai Wynyard, after making his season debut last week, appeared in two games for the ACL Rangers, the rookie affiliate of the Texas Rangers, pitching a combined 4.0 innings and earning the win in one game - his third win of the year so far.

On June 14, in a 6-3 win against the ACL White Sox at Surprise Stadium, Wynyard came in as the relieving pitcher for starter Ivan Oviedo at the top of the fifth inning, seeing a three-up, three-down dig. The same happened through the sixth inning, and almost through the seventh except for giving up a double, as he was replaced by Alberto Mota heading into the eighth inning.

In a 15-14 extra-innings win on June 18, Wynyard came into the game during the bottom of the eighth inning against the ACL Royals at Surprise Stadium to replace Adrian Rodriguez where he immediately gave up a run as a result of a wild pitch before striking out the final batter for the third out.

He stayed in the game to begin the ninth inning with the ACL Rangers looking to hold onto a 14-10 lead, and, with two strikeouts to begin the bottom half, but hit the next batter, before giving up a singe and another base on balls before being substituted out for Moto.

RILEY YEATMAN - ACL PADRES

After making his season debut last week, this week, South Australian Riley Yeatman appeared in one game for the ACL Padres, the rookie affiliate of the San Diego Padres, pitching 2.1 innings and earning the save.

At Peoria Stadium on June 16, in a seven-inning 7-1 victory against the ACL Rangers, Yeatman entered the game during the top half of the fifth inning, replacing Adrian Luna with two outs. Despite a base on balls to the first batter he faced, Yeatman got out of the innings with a swinging strikeout.

It was a three-up, three-down top half of the sixth inning that included two strikeouts. Although Yeatman gave up a lead-off single to begin the top of the seventh inning, the next batter grounded into a double play, and not even a base on balls could deter Yeatman as he saw the final batter ground out to finish the game.

BEN WALMSLEY - ACL REDS

Queenslander Ben Walmsley, after making his season - and Minor League Baseball - debut last week, appeared in one game for the FCL Red, the rookie affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds this week, pitching 1.1 innings in relief, giving up two runs on three hits with two strikeouts.

On June 17, in a seven-inning 5-4 win, Walmsley entered the game the bottom of the first inning, replacing starter Ryan Olson. Walmsley gave up a two-out two-RBI double, as well as two walks and a single to the first four batters he faced, giving up three runs in the process that included a wild pitch. However, he got out of the inning with a strikeout.

The bottom of the second inning saw a single given up amongst the three outs ahead of being replaced by Nestor Lorant at the start of the bottom half of the third inning.

Against the FCL Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium on June 17, Maguire went one for four in a seven-inning 6-1 win, hitting a single into left field in the third inning, making his way to second base before the inning ended.

In the return game on June 18 at Pirate City Complex, Maguire went one for four in a seven-inning 12-0 win, hitting a third-inning single into right field though was out at third base.

JAKE BURNS - FCL CARDINALS

New South Welshman Jake Burns appeared in two games for the FCL Cardinals, the rookie affiliate of the St Louis Cardinals, as the team was at home and away during the past week.

First up, on June 14 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, Burns went zero for five in a 9-3 victory against the FCL Mets, however, on June 17, at The Ballpark of Palm Beaches against the FCL Nationals, he had a zero for one game with a run and two walks in the 4-3 win.

He was first issued a base on balls at the top of the first innings, though was caught trying to steal second base, and was walked again at the top of the third inning where he successfully stole second base, before the inning came to an end.

Leading off at the top of the sixth inning, Burns reached base on a throwing error by the shortstop, and made his way to third base on a fielding error as a result of contact by Luis Pino. Another fielding error saw Romtres Cabrera reach base, which allowed for Burns to plate a run and put the FCL Cardinals up 2-1. Burns was substituted out at the bottom of the sixth innings and didn't return to the game.

CLAYTON CAMPBELL - FCL TIGERS

New South Welshman Clayton Campbell, after making his Minor League Baseball debut last week, appeared in three games for the FCL Tigers, the rookie affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, in three separate series.

Firstly, on June 13 at Carpenter Complex in a 15-9 loss to the FCL Phillies, Campbell went zero for two before he was replaced by Adinso Reyes.

On June 17, against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, Campbell entered the game at the bottom of the eighth inning and went zero for one with a lead-off walk in the ninth inning. He advanced on the bases due to a walk, and a hit by pitch, before scoring on a J.D. McLaughlin single as the FCL Tigers won 15-9.

Campbell went zero for four on June 18 in a 4-3 defeat to the FCL Blue Jays at Tigertown.

SINGLE A

JOSH GESSNER - DOWN EAST WOOD DUCKS

After making his season debut last week for the Texas Rangers' rookie affiliate, New South Welshman Josh Gessner was called up to the organisation's Single A affiliate, the Down East Wood Ducks, and appeared in one game for the week.

On June 16, in a 5-2 victory at Bank of the James Stadium, Gessner earned the win as he came into the game at the bottom of the fifth inning to replace Jackson Leath, pitching 3.2 innings for three hits, one run and four strikeouts.

While he hit the first batter he faced, Gessner had the next three batters out in succession. At the bottom of the sixth inning, he gave up a single and a base on balls, with neither eventuating into runs as Gessner steadied with two strikeouts.

The bottom of the seventh inning saw Gessner give up a lead-off walk, before a double scored that runner. Another hit by pitch didn't faze him however as he got out of the inning with the remaining couple of outs. The bottom of the eighth inning saw the first two batters reach base, and despite the next two batters being sent back to the dugout, a pitching change was made with Gessner replaced by Damian Mendoza.

CHRIS BURKE - CLEARWATER THRESHERS

Victorian Chris Burke appeared in three games this week for the Clearwater Threshers, the Single A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in a home series against he Palm Beach Cardinals at BayCare Ballpark.

On June 15, in a 5- loss, Burke went zero for two with a lead-off walk at the bottom of the sixth inning, though was left there as the next three batters all went out.

In a 4-0 win on June 17, Burke went zero for three, and on June 19 which resulted in a 6-2 victory, he went zero for four at the plate.

RIXON WINGROVE - JERSEY SHORE BLUECLAWS

New South Welshman Rixon Wingrove appeared in five games for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, the High A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in a home series at ShoreTown Ballpark against the Aberdeen IronBirds.

On June 14, in a 4-0 loss, Wingrove went one for two with a base on balls. He was walked in the fourth inning, ending up at second base before the inning was over, and in the sixth inning, hit a single into right field before the next three batters were all retired in succession.

On June 15, in a 3-2 loss, Wingrove went one for four with an RBI courtesy of a two-out single into centrefield that scored Jared Carr. He went zero for four in a 10-4 win on June 16.

It was a zero for three showing with a run and a base on balls on June 17 in a result where the BlueClaws fell 9-5. Wingrove earned a ninth-inning walk, advancing on back-to-back singles, before scoring after Baron Radcliff was hit by a pitch.

In the last game of the series on June 19, Wingrove went two for four with two RBIs in the 7-6 loss. With bases loaded in the first inning, he was it by a pitch, which saw Carlos De La Cruz score, advancing to third base on a double by D.J. Stewart, however, didn't advance as the next three batters fell.

Wingrove hit a two-out double in the second innings that scored Ethan Wilson before the inning was over, and a single in the bottom of the ninth inning before he was replaced by a pinch-runner.

JARRYD DALE - FORT WAYNE TINCAPS

Victorian Jarryd Dale appeared in five games for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, in an away series to the Lansing Lugnuts at Jackson Field.

The first game of the series, on June 14, in a 3-1 win, Dale went two for four with an RBI. He hit a two-out single into left field at the top of the first inning that scored Robert Hassell III, and another single into left field in the ninth inning, making it to second base before the inning was over.

On June 15, in a 9-5 loss, Dale went zero for four at the plate, though did earn a base on balls in the fifth inning. On June 16, Dale was promoted to the top of the order for the 9-4 victory, and went two for four with two runs.

Dale hit a lead-off single into right field to get the game going at the top of the first inning, advancing to third base on a Hassell III single, and scoring on a throwing error by the catcher attempting to catch Hassell III stealing second base. Dale made it to first base during the second inning, with a wild pitch seeing him end up at second base, before a a Lucas Dunn double had Dale crossing the plate and scoring.

Dale went zero for four in a 6-5 loss on June 18, though had a three for six game on June 19 where he had a run and an RBI in the 14-0 win. The TinCaps piled on eight runs at the top of the first inning, with Dale hitting a double into left field that scored Dunn. Dale then crossed home plate when Agustin Ruiz hit a three-run blast over the fence in right centrefield.

Dale continued his game with a lead-off infield single, but attempted to go to second base on the fielding attempt and was tagged out. He had a seventh-inning single into left field and was stuck at third base when the final out was made.

JACK O'LOUGHLIN - WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS

South Australian Jack O'Loughlin appeared in two games for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Detroit Tigers' High A affiliate, in an away series to the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park, pitching a combined 3.2 innings.

On June 14, in a 8-7 win, O'Loughlin entered the game with two outs at the bottom of the third inning, replacing starter Dylan Smith, and needed just one pitch to claim the final out to end the innings.

Onto the bottom of the fourth innings, he hit the first batter, before a base on balls, a single, and a sacrifice fly saw a run be scored, as he gave up another base on balls before finding the final out of the innings. He was replaced by Ted Stuka on the mound for the next innings.

The next game O'Loughlin appeared in was on June 18, an 8-2 loss, coming into the game early, at the bottom of the first inning as starter Carlos Guzman had given up five runs already. O'Loughlin walked the first batter he faced, with back-to-back singles, another walk, and a couple of wild pitches all contributed to the opposition lead extending before he found the final out.

It was a three-up, three-down second inning that included two looking strikeouts, as was the third inning, though with two swinging strikeouts. He was replaced by RJ Petit to begin the bottom half of the fourth innings.

BLAKE TOWNSEND - EVERETT AQUASOX

Victorian Blake Townsend continued his run with the Everett AquaSox, the High A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, appearing in two games of a home series at Funko Field against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

His first appearance came on June 14, in a 5-4 win where he earned a hold as he came on to pitch in the top of the seventh inning, replacing Max Roberts.

In his first inning on the mound, he saw four batters, only allowing one runner as a result of a fielding error, and it was a similar situation in the eighth inning that began with a strikeout, allowing just one runner as a result of a hit by pitch. He was replaced at the top of the ninth inning by Isaiah Campbell.

On June 18, in a 5-3 win, Townsend came on as relief for starting pitcher Prelander Berroa to begin the top of the sixth inning. He saw the first batter ground out, before giving up two walks and a double within the next three batters.

A fielding error saw one run score before Townsend struck out the next batter, though he would give up another run as a result of a passed ball, before the final out was made. He was replaced at the beginning of the next inning by Roberts.

West Australian Alex Hall appeared in four games for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the High A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, as the side was away to the Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond.

On June 15, in a 5-0 loss, Hall went one for three, a lead-off double being his lone hit of the ballgame, unable to move any further as the next three batters were each struck out.

Hall went zero for three in a 13-4 loss on June 16, and had the same result on June 17 in a 3-0 defeat. He again had a zero for three night on June 18, though earned a base on balls at the top of he fourth inning, making his way around the bases before scoring on a Arbert Cipion single.

CURTIS MEAD - MONTGOMERY BISCUITS

South Australian Curtis Mead appeared in five games for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, in an away series to the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field.

Mead went one for four in the opening game of the series on June 14, an 8-2 loss, with a run and an RBI, courtesy of a solo home run over the fence in right field to lead-off the top of the ninth inning.

Mead went two for four in a 9-0 loss on June 15, hitting a two-out ground-rule double into left centrefield in the first inning, and a lead-off double into left field in the fourth inning, the latter of which he ended up at third base, but in neither instance came home.

He had a one for three game with a base on balls on June 17 which ended as a 5-0 loss. He hit a single to right field in the third inning and stole second base before the final out, and earned a walk in the eighth inning, but didn't advance further.

On June 18, in a 6-4 loss, Mead went two for four with a run and an RBI. He reached base on a fielder's choice in the first inning and made it to second base before the inning was over, before hitting a single to left field in the third inning, ending up at third base as the inning ended. At the top of the fifth inning, he hit a solo home run to left field, extending what was a 4-2 Biscuits lead at the time.

The final game of the series on June 19 - which ended in a 7-2 loss -saw Mead go two for four with two runs and two RBIs, both instances coming via solo home runs in the first and ninth innings.

AARON WHITEFIELD - ROCKET CITY TRASH PANDAS

Queenslander Aaron Whitefield appeared in all six games for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, in a home series at Toyota Field against the Montgomery Biscuits.

In an 8-2 win on June 14, Whitefield went one for four with a run after hitting a single into right field, stealing second base, and scoring on a Orlando Martinez single into right field.

On June 15, in a 9-0 win, Whitefield went one for four with a run, having hit a lead-of single in the bottom of the sixth inning, advancing to third base on a Preston Palmeiro single, and scoring on a three-run home run by Jeremiah Jackson.

Whitefield went zero for five in a 19-4 loss on June 16, though bounced back on June 17 with a two for five game with two runs in the 5-0 victory.

Whitefield hit a double into left field in the bottom of the first inning, stealing third base, and scoring on a Martinez single, while he had another double to lead-off the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly from Palmeiro.

On June 18, Whitefield went zero for three with two runs and a base on balls in a 6-4 victory. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached base on a throwing error and scored on a Martinez triple to centrfield. He was walked in the seventh inning, and scored on a Martinez double to right field.

In the final game of the series on June 19, he went one for four with a run in the 7-2 victory, hitting a double into right field to lead-off the bottom of the eighth inning, scoring on a Martinez single.

West Australian Robbie Glendinning appeared in four games for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, in an home series at Arvest Ballpark against the Arkansas Travelers.

On June 14, in a 7-5 win, Glendinning went one for four with a run and an RBI, hitting a single to left field in the fourth inning that scored John Rave, before coming home on a Jake Means double.

In a 5-4 loss on June 15, Glendinning went zero for three, and on June 17, in a 13-2 defeat, went zero for three with a run and a base on balls after a lead-off walk to begin the bottom of the seventh inning, ending up at third base on a Ryan Grotjohn double, scoring on contact by Tucker Bradley.

The final game of the week for Glendinning saw him go zero for three in a 9-0 win on June 18 with a run and a base on balls, being walked in the first inning, and coming home as a result of a walk also.

More Australians were able to showcase their talent with the rookie leagues continuing into its second week with plenty of success while Curtis Mead hit four home runs across the past week - including two in the one game.

KAI WYNYARD - ACL RANGERS

Queenslander Kai Wynyard, after making his season debut last week, appeared in two games for the ACL Rangers, the rookie affiliate of the Texas Rangers, pitching a combined 4.0 innings and earning the win in one game - his third win of the year so far.

On June 14, in a 6-3 win against the ACL White Sox at Surprise Stadium, Wynyard came in as the relieving pitcher for starter Ivan Oviedo at the top of the fifth inning, seeing a three-up, three-down dig. The same happened through the sixth inning, and almost through the seventh except for giving up a double, as he was replaced by Alberto Mota heading into the eighth inning.

In a 15-14 extra-innings win on June 18, Wynyard came into the game during the bottom of the eighth inning against the ACL Royals at Surprise Stadium to replace Adrian Rodriguez where he immediately gave up a run as a result of a wild pitch before striking out the final batter for the third out.

He stayed in the game to begin the ninth inning with the ACL Rangers looking to hold onto a 14-10 lead, and, with two strikeouts to begin the bottom half, but hit the next batter, before giving up a singe and another base on balls before being substituted out for Moto.

RILEY YEATMAN - ACL PADRES

After making his season debut last week, this week, South Australian Riley Yeatman appeared in one game for the ACL Padres, the rookie affiliate of the San Diego Padres, pitching 2.1 innings and earning the save.

At Peoria Stadium on June 16, in a seven-inning 7-1 victory against the ACL Rangers, Yeatman entered the game during the top half of the fifth inning, replacing Adrian Luna with two outs. Despite a base on balls to the first batter he faced, Yeatman got out of the innings with a swinging strikeout.

It was a three-up, three-down top half of the sixth inning that included two strikeouts. Although Yeatman gave up a lead-off single to begin the top of the seventh inning, the next batter grounded into a double play, and not even a base on balls could deter Yeatman as he saw the final batter ground out to finish the game.

BEN WALMSLEY - ACL REDS

Queenslander Ben Walmsley, after making his season - and Minor League Baseball - debut last week, appeared in one game for the FCL Red, the rookie affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds this week, pitching 1.1 innings in relief, giving up two runs on three hits with two strikeouts.

On June 17, in a seven-inning 5-4 win, Walmsley entered the game the bottom of the first inning, replacing starter Ryan Olson. Walmsley gave up a two-out two-RBI double, as well as two walks and a single to the first four batters he faced, giving up three runs in the process that included a wild pitch. However, he got out of the inning with a strikeout.

The bottom of the second inning saw a single given up amongst the three outs ahead of being replaced by Nestor Lorant at the start of the bottom half of the third inning.

Victorian Liam Spence made his rookie league season debut this past week, appearing in two games for the ACL Cubs, the rookie affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

On June 17, against the ACL Reds at Sloan Park, Spence went zero for two after he entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Cristian Hernandez in the bottom of the fifth inning of a seven-inning 5-4 defeat. On June 18, against the ACL Athletics at Hohokam Stadium, Spence went zero for three with a sixth-inning base on balls in the 6-2 win.

NIKAU POUAKA-GREGO - FCL PHILLIES

Victorian Nikau Pouaka-Grego, following his season debut last week, appeared in five games throughout this past week for the FCL Phillies, the rookie affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

First up, on June 13, in a 15-9 win against the FCL Tigers at Carpenter Complex, Pouaka-Grego went three for four with three runs, three RBIs and a base on balls. He was walked in his first plate appearance in the bottom of the first inning, scoring on a Adony Meija two-run home run.

He hit a two-out bases-clearing double into left field in the fourth inning, before scoring himself on a Oscar Gonzalez single into left field. Pouaka-Grego hit his second two-out double of the game in the fifth inning, into left field, and made his way to third base via a wild pitch before the inning ended. His third hit came via a single to centrefield, making it to second base on an error, before scoring on a Randy Vasquez triple.

On June 14, in a 7-3 loss, Pouaka-Grego went zero for four against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, before bouncing back with a one for four game in a 10-5 loss to the FCL Blue Jays on June 16 at Carpenter Complex where he had a run and two RBIs, courtesy of a two-out two-run home run over the right centrefield fence in the eighth inning.

In a 10-4 victory against FCL Yankees at Yankee Complex on June 17, Pouaka-Grego went one for three with a first-inning base on balls. He was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, and had a two-out single in the eighth inning, though didn't advance past first base in either instance as the final out was made.

Victorian Chris Burke appeared in three games this week for the Clearwater Threshers, the Single A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in a home series against he Palm Beach Cardinals at BayCare Ballpark.

On June 15, in a 5- loss, Burke went zero for two with a lead-off walk at the bottom of the sixth inning, though was left there as the next three batters all went out.

In a 4-0 win on June 17, Burke went zero for three, and on June 19 which resulted in a 6-2 victory, he went zero for four at the plate.

RIXON WINGROVE - JERSEY SHORE BLUECLAWS

New South Welshman Rixon Wingrove appeared in five games for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, the High A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in a home series at ShoreTown Ballpark against the Aberdeen IronBirds.

On June 14, in a 4-0 loss, Wingrove went one for two with a base on balls. He was walked in the fourth inning, ending up at second base before the inning was over, and in the sixth inning, hit a single into right field before the next three batters were all retired in succession.

On June 15, in a 3-2 loss, Wingrove went one for four with an RBI courtesy of a two-out single into centrefield that scored Jared Carr. He went zero for four in a 10-4 win on June 16.

It was a zero for three showing with a run and a base on balls on June 17 in a result where the BlueClaws fell 9-5. Wingrove earned a ninth-inning walk, advancing on back-to-back singles, before scoring after Baron Radcliff was hit by a pitch.

In the last game of the series on June 19, Wingrove went two for four with two RBIs in the 7-6 loss. With bases loaded in the first inning, he was it by a pitch, which saw Carlos De La Cruz score, advancing to third base on a double by D.J. Stewart, however, didn't advance as the next three batters fell.

Victorian Jarryd Dale appeared in five games for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, in an away series to the Lansing Lugnuts at Jackson Field.

The first game of the series, on June 14, in a 3-1 win, Dale went two for four with an RBI. He hit a two-out single into left field at the top of the first inning that scored Robert Hassell III, and another single into left field in the ninth inning, making it to second base before the inning was over.

On June 15, in a 9-5 loss, Dale went zero for four at the plate, though did earn a base on balls in the fifth inning. On June 16, Dale was promoted to the top of the order for the 9-4 victory, and went two for four with two runs.

Dale hit a lead-off single into right field to get the game going at the top of the first inning, advancing to third base on a Hassell III single, and scoring on a throwing error by the catcher attempting to catch Hassell III stealing second base. Dale made it to first base during the second inning, with a wild pitch seeing him end up at second base, before a a Lucas Dunn double had Dale crossing the plate and scoring.

Dale went zero for four in a 6-5 loss on June 18, though had a three for six game on June 19 where he had a run and an RBI in the 14-0 win. The TinCaps piled on eight runs at the top of the first inning, with Dale hitting a double into left field that scored Dunn. Dale then crossed home plate when Agustin Ruiz hit a three-run blast over the fence in right centrefield.

Dale continued his game with a lead-off infield single, but attempted to go to second base on the fielding attempt and was tagged out. He had a seventh-inning single into left field and was stuck at third base when the final out was made.

JACK O'LOUGHLIN - WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS

South Australian Jack O'Loughlin appeared in two games for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Detroit Tigers' High A affiliate, in an away series to the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park, pitching a combined 3.2 innings.

On June 14, in a 8-7 win, O'Loughlin entered the game with two outs at the bottom of the third inning, replacing starter Dylan Smith, and needed just one pitch to claim the final out to end the innings.

Onto the bottom of the fourth innings, he hit the first batter, before a base on balls, a single, and a sacrifice fly saw a run be scored, as he gave up another base on balls before finding the final out of the innings. He was replaced by Ted Stuka on the mound for the next innings.

The next game O'Loughlin appeared in was on June 18, an 8-2 loss, coming into the game early, at the bottom of the first inning as starter Carlos Guzman had given up five runs already. O'Loughlin walked the first batter he faced, with back-to-back singles, another walk, and a couple of wild pitches all contributed to the opposition lead extending before he found the final out.

It was a three-up, three-down second inning that included two looking strikeouts, as was the third inning, though with two swinging strikeouts. He was replaced by RJ Petit to begin the bottom half of the fourth innings.

BLAKE TOWNSEND - EVERETT AQUASOX

Victorian Blake Townsend continued his run with the Everett AquaSox, the High A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, appearing in two games of a home series at Funko Field against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

His first appearance came on June 14, in a 5-4 win where he earned a hold as he came on to pitch in the top of the seventh inning, replacing Max Roberts.

In his first inning on the mound, he saw four batters, only allowing one runner as a result of a fielding error, and it was a similar situation in the eighth inning that began with a strikeout, allowing just one runner as a result of a hit by pitch. He was replaced at the top of the ninth inning by Isaiah Campbell.

On June 18, in a 5-3 win, Townsend came on as relief for starting pitcher Prelander Berroa to begin the top of the sixth inning. He saw the first batter ground out, before giving up two walks and a double within the next three batters.

A fielding error saw one run score before Townsend struck out the next batter, though he would give up another run as a result of a passed ball, before the final out was made. He was replaced at the beginning of the next inning by Roberts.

West Australian Alex Hall appeared in four games for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the High A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, as the side was away to the Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond.

On June 15, in a 5-0 loss, Hall went one for three, a lead-off double being his lone hit of the ballgame, unable to move any further as the next three batters were each struck out.

Hall went zero for three in a 13-4 loss on June 16, and had the same result on June 17 in a 3-0 defeat. He again had a zero for three night on June 18, though earned a base on balls at the top of he fourth inning, making his way around the bases before scoring on a Arbert Cipion single.

CURTIS MEAD - MONTGOMERY BISCUITS

South Australian Curtis Mead appeared in five games for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, in an away series to the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field.

Mead went one for four in the opening game of the series on June 14, an 8-2 loss, with a run and an RBI, courtesy of a solo home run over the fence in right field to lead-off the top of the ninth inning.

Mead went two for four in a 9-0 loss on June 15, hitting a two-out ground-rule double into left centrefield in the first inning, and a lead-off double into left field in the fourth inning, the latter of which he ended up at third base, but in neither instance came home.

He had a one for three game with a base on balls on June 17 which ended as a 5-0 loss. He hit a single to right field in the third inning and stole second base before the final out, and earned a walk in the eighth inning, but didn't advance further.

On June 18, in a 6-4 loss, Mead went two for four with a run and an RBI. He reached base on a fielder's choice in the first inning and made it to second base before the inning was over, before hitting a single to left field in the third inning, ending up at third base as the inning ended. At the top of the fifth inning, he hit a solo home run to left field, extending what was a 4-2 Biscuits lead at the time.

The final game of the series on June 19 - which ended in a 7-2 loss -saw Mead go two for four with two runs and two RBIs, both instances coming via solo home runs in the first and ninth innings.

AARON WHITEFIELD - ROCKET CITY TRASH PANDAS

Queenslander Aaron Whitefield appeared in all six games for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, in a home series at Toyota Field against the Montgomery Biscuits.

In an 8-2 win on June 14, Whitefield went one for four with a run after hitting a single into right field, stealing second base, and scoring on a Orlando Martinez single into right field.

On June 15, in a 9-0 win, Whitefield went one for four with a run, having hit a lead-of single in the bottom of the sixth inning, advancing to third base on a Preston Palmeiro single, and scoring on a three-run home run by Jeremiah Jackson.

Whitefield went zero for five in a 19-4 loss on June 16, though bounced back on June 17 with a two for five game with two runs in the 5-0 victory.

Whitefield hit a double into left field in the bottom of the first inning, stealing third base, and scoring on a Martinez single, while he had another double to lead-off the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly from Palmeiro.

On June 18, Whitefield went zero for three with two runs and a base on balls in a 6-4 victory. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached base on a throwing error and scored on a Martinez triple to centrfield. He was walked in the seventh inning, and scored on a Martinez double to right field.

In the final game of the series on June 19, he went one for four with a run in the 7-2 victory, hitting a double into right field to lead-off the bottom of the eighth inning, scoring on a Martinez single.

West Australian Robbie Glendinning appeared in four games for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, in an home series at Arvest Ballpark against the Arkansas Travelers.

On June 14, in a 7-5 win, Glendinning went one for four with a run and an RBI, hitting a single to left field in the fourth inning that scored John Rave, before coming home on a Jake Means double.

In a 5-4 loss on June 15, Glendinning went zero for three, and on June 17, in a 13-2 defeat, went zero for three with a run and a base on balls after a lead-off walk to begin the bottom of the seventh inning, ending up at third base on a Ryan Grotjohn double, scoring on contact by Tucker Bradley.

The final game of the week for Glendinning saw him go zero for three in a 9-0 win on June 18 with a run and a base on balls, being walked in the first inning, and coming home as a result of a walk also.

New South Welshman Jake Burns appeared in two games for the FCL Cardinals, the rookie affiliate of the St Louis Cardinals, as the team was at home and away during the past week.

First up, on June 14 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, Burns went zero for five in a 9-3 victory against the FCL Mets, however, on June 17, at The Ballpark of Palm Beaches against the FCL Nationals, he had a zero for one game with a run and two walks in the 4-3 win.

He was first issued a base on balls at the top of the first innings, though was caught trying to steal second base, and was walked again at the top of the third inning where he successfully stole second base, before the inning came to an end.

Leading off at the top of the sixth inning, Burns reached base on a throwing error by the shortstop, and made his way to third base on a fielding error as a result of contact by Luis Pino. Another fielding error saw Romtres Cabrera reach base, which allowed for Burns to plate a run and put the FCL Cardinals up 2-1. Burns was substituted out at the bottom of the sixth innings and didn't return to the game.

KAI WYNYARD - ACL RANGERS

Queenslander Kai Wynyard, after making his season debut last week, appeared in two games for the ACL Rangers, the rookie affiliate of the Texas Rangers, pitching a combined 4.0 innings and earning the win in one game - his third win of the year so far.

On June 14, in a 6-3 win against the ACL White Sox at Surprise Stadium, Wynyard came in as the relieving pitcher for starter Ivan Oviedo at the top of the fifth inning, seeing a three-up, three-down dig. The same happened through the sixth inning, and almost through the seventh except for giving up a double, as he was replaced by Alberto Mota heading into the eighth inning.

In a 15-14 extra-innings win on June 18, Wynyard came into the game during the bottom of the eighth inning against the ACL Royals at Surprise Stadium to replace Adrian Rodriguez where he immediately gave up a run as a result of a wild pitch before striking out the final batter for the third out.

He stayed in the game to begin the ninth inning with the ACL Rangers looking to hold onto a 14-10 lead, and, with two strikeouts to begin the bottom half, but hit the next batter, before giving up a singe and another base on balls before being substituted out for Moto.

RILEY YEATMAN - ACL PADRES

After making his season debut last week, this week, South Australian Riley Yeatman appeared in one game for the ACL Padres, the rookie affiliate of the San Diego Padres, pitching 2.1 innings and earning the save.

At Peoria Stadium on June 16, in a seven-inning 7-1 victory against the ACL Rangers, Yeatman entered the game during the top half of the fifth inning, replacing Adrian Luna with two outs. Despite a base on balls to the first batter he faced, Yeatman got out of the innings with a swinging strikeout.

It was a three-up, three-down top half of the sixth inning that included two strikeouts. Although Yeatman gave up a lead-off single to begin the top of the seventh inning, the next batter grounded into a double play, and not even a base on balls could deter Yeatman as he saw the final batter ground out to finish the game.

BEN WALMSLEY - ACL REDS

Queenslander Ben Walmsley, after making his season - and Minor League Baseball - debut last week, appeared in one game for the FCL Red, the rookie affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds this week, pitching 1.1 innings in relief, giving up two runs on three hits with two strikeouts.

On June 17, in a seven-inning 5-4 win, Walmsley entered the game the bottom of the first inning, replacing starter Ryan Olson. Walmsley gave up a two-out two-RBI double, as well as two walks and a single to the first four batters he faced, giving up three runs in the process that included a wild pitch. However, he got out of the inning with a strikeout.

The bottom of the second inning saw a single given up amongst the three outs ahead of being replaced by Nestor Lorant at the start of the bottom half of the third inning.

Victorian Liam Spence made his rookie league season debut this past week, appearing in two games for the ACL Cubs, the rookie affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

On June 17, against the ACL Reds at Sloan Park, Spence went zero for two after he entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Cristian Hernandez in the bottom of the fifth inning of a seven-inning 5-4 defeat. On June 18, against the ACL Athletics at Hohokam Stadium, Spence went zero for three with a sixth-inning base on balls in the 6-2 win.

Victorian Nikau Pouaka-Grego, following his season debut last week, appeared in five games throughout this past week for the FCL Phillies, the rookie affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

First up, on June 13, in a 15-9 win against the FCL Tigers at Carpenter Complex, Pouaka-Grego went three for four with three runs, three RBIs and a base on balls. He was walked in his first plate appearance in the bottom of the first inning, scoring on a Adony Meija two-run home run.

He hit a two-out bases-clearing double into left field in the fourth inning, before scoring himself on a Oscar Gonzalez single into left field. Pouaka-Grego hit his second two-out double of the game in the fifth inning, into left field, and made his way to third base via a wild pitch before the inning ended. His third hit came via a single to centrefield, making it to second base on an error, before scoring on a Randy Vasquez triple.

On June 14, in a 7-3 loss, Pouaka-Grego went zero for four against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, before bouncing back with a one for four game in a 10-5 loss to the FCL Blue Jays on June 16 at Carpenter Complex where he had a run and two RBIs, courtesy of a two-out two-run home run over the right centrefield fence in the eighth inning.

In a 10-4 victory against FCL Yankees at Yankee Complex on June 17, Pouaka-Grego went one for three with a first-inning base on balls. He was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, and had a two-out single in the eighth inning, though didn't advance past first base in either instance as the final out was made.

On June 18, against the FCL Yankees at Carpenter Complex, he went one for three in the 9-1 loss, hitting a fifth-inning single into right field, stealing second base before the inning was complete. During a play at the top of the sixth, Pouaka-Grego was injured and substituted for Oscar Gonzalez.

New South Welshman Solomon Maguire appeared in two games for the FCL Pirates, the rookie affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, as the side played three series, one against the FCL Red Sox, the FCL Rays, and another against the FCL Orioles.

On June 13, against the FCL Red Sox at JetBlue Park, Maguire had a zero for four game with a run and a base on balls. In the top of the fifth inning, he reached base on a fielder's choice, getting to third base before the inning was over, however, he had a lead-off walk to begin the top of the seventh inning, making it around the bases and eventually home from singles to three of the following four batters.

On June 16, in a 13-1 loss to the FCL Rays at Pirate City Complex, Maguire went three for four with a run. He hit a triple into centrefield in the bottom of the third inning, scoring on a wild pitch. He hit a single into right field in the sixth inning and stole second base, while hitting another single into the same area in the eighth which saw him stuck at third base as the inning ended.

New South Welshman Clayton Campbell, after making his Minor League Baseball debut last week, appeared in three games for the FCL Tigers, the rookie affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, in three separate series.

Firstly, on June 13 at Carpenter Complex in a 15-9 loss to the FCL Phillies, Campbell went zero for two before he was replaced by Adinso Reyes.

On June 17, against the FCL Blue Jays at Bobby Mattick Complex, Campbell entered the game at the bottom of the eighth inning and went zero for one with a lead-off walk in the ninth inning. He advanced on the bases due to a walk, and a hit by pitch, before scoring on a J.D. McLaughlin single as the FCL Tigers won 15-9.

Campbell went zero for four on June 18 in a 4-3 defeat to the FCL Blue Jays at Tigertown.

After making his season debut last week for the Texas Rangers' rookie affiliate, New South Welshman Josh Gessner was called up to the organisation's Single A affiliate, the Down East Wood Ducks, and appeared in one game for the week.

On June 16, in a 5-2 victory at Bank of the James Stadium, Gessner earned the win as he came into the game at the bottom of the fifth inning to replace Jackson Leath, pitching 3.2 innings for three hits, one run and four strikeouts.

While he hit the first batter he faced, Gessner had the next three batters out in succession. At the bottom of the sixth inning, he gave up a single and a base on balls, with neither eventuating into runs as Gessner steadied with two strikeouts.

JARRYD DALE - FORT WAYNE TINCAPS

Victorian Jarryd Dale appeared in five games for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, in an away series to the Lansing Lugnuts at Jackson Field.

The first game of the series, on June 14, in a 3-1 win, Dale went two for four with an RBI. He hit a two-out single into left field at the top of the first inning that scored Robert Hassell III, and another single into left field in the ninth inning, making it to second base before the inning was over.

On June 15, in a 9-5 loss, Dale went zero for four at the plate, though did earn a base on balls in the fifth inning. On June 16, Dale was promoted to the top of the order for the 9-4 victory, and went two for four with two runs.

Dale hit a lead-off single into right field to get the game going at the top of the first inning, advancing to third base on a Hassell III single, and scoring on a throwing error by the catcher attempting to catch Hassell III stealing second base. Dale made it to first base during the second inning, with a wild pitch seeing him end up at second base, before a a Lucas Dunn double had Dale crossing the plate and scoring.

Dale went zero for four in a 6-5 loss on June 18, though had a three for six game on June 19 where he had a run and an RBI in the 14-0 win. The TinCaps piled on eight runs at the top of the first inning, with Dale hitting a double into left field that scored Dunn. Dale then crossed home plate when Agustin Ruiz hit a three-run blast over the fence in right centrefield.

Dale continued his game with a lead-off infield single, but attempted to go to second base on the fielding attempt and was tagged out. He had a seventh-inning single into left field and was stuck at third base when the final out was made.

JACK O'LOUGHLIN - WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS

South Australian Jack O'Loughlin appeared in two games for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the Detroit Tigers' High A affiliate, in an away series to the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park, pitching a combined 3.2 innings.

On June 14, in a 8-7 win, O'Loughlin entered the game with two outs at the bottom of the third inning, replacing starter Dylan Smith, and needed just one pitch to claim the final out to end the innings.

Onto the bottom of the fourth innings, he hit the first batter, before a base on balls, a single, and a sacrifice fly saw a run be scored, as he gave up another base on balls before finding the final out of the innings. He was replaced by Ted Stuka on the mound for the next innings.

The next game O'Loughlin appeared in was on June 18, an 8-2 loss, coming into the game early, at the bottom of the first inning as starter Carlos Guzman had given up five runs already. O'Loughlin walked the first batter he faced, with back-to-back singles, another walk, and a couple of wild pitches all contributed to the opposition lead extending before he found the final out.

It was a three-up, three-down second inning that included two looking strikeouts, as was the third inning, though with two swinging strikeouts. He was replaced by RJ Petit to begin the bottom half of the fourth innings.

BLAKE TOWNSEND - EVERETT AQUASOX

Victorian Blake Townsend continued his run with the Everett AquaSox, the High A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, appearing in two games of a home series at Funko Field against the Tri-City Dust Devils.

His first appearance came on June 14, in a 5-4 win where he earned a hold as he came on to pitch in the top of the seventh inning, replacing Max Roberts.

In his first inning on the mound, he saw four batters, only allowing one runner as a result of a fielding error, and it was a similar situation in the eighth inning that began with a strikeout, allowing just one runner as a result of a hit by pitch. He was replaced at the top of the ninth inning by Isaiah Campbell.

On June 18, in a 5-3 win, Townsend came on as relief for starting pitcher Prelander Berroa to begin the top of the sixth inning. He saw the first batter ground out, before giving up two walks and a double within the next three batters.

A fielding error saw one run score before Townsend struck out the next batter, though he would give up another run as a result of a passed ball, before the final out was made. He was replaced at the beginning of the next inning by Roberts.

ULRICH BOJARSKI - WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS

West Australian Ulrich Bojarski appeared in three games for the West Michigan Whitecaps, the High A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, in an away series to the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park.

On June 14, Bojarski went zero for three with a two-out first-inning base on balls, though didn't advance any further in the 8-7 win. He was subbed in at the bottom of the seventh inning of the 8-2 loss on June 18, though wasn't required to bat during the remainder of the game.

Bojarski went one for two on June 19, scoring a run, having two RBIs, and two walks in the 7-5 victory. He had a fourth-inning walk, though was out trying for home, and drew another walk in the sixth inning, stealing second base before the inning was over. He hit a two-run home run over the fence in right field to score Corey Joyce also and extend the Whitecaps' lead.

ALEX HALL - WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS

West Australian Alex Hall appeared in four games for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the High A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, as the side was away to the Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond.

On June 15, in a 5-0 loss, Hall went one for three, a lead-off double being his lone hit of the ballgame, unable to move any further as the next three batters were each struck out.

Hall went zero for three in a 13-4 loss on June 16, and had the same result on June 17 in a 3-0 defeat. He again had a zero for three night on June 18, though earned a base on balls at the top of he fourth inning, making his way around the bases before scoring on a Arbert Cipion single.

DOUBLE A

CURTIS MEAD - MONTGOMERY BISCUITS

South Australian Curtis Mead appeared in five games for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, in an away series to the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field.

Mead went one for four in the opening game of the series on June 14, an 8-2 loss, with a run and an RBI, courtesy of a solo home run over the fence in right field to lead-off the top of the ninth inning.

Mead went two for four in a 9-0 loss on June 15, hitting a two-out ground-rule double into left centrefield in the first inning, and a lead-off double into left field in the fourth inning, the latter of which he ended up at third base, but in neither instance came home.

He had a one for three game with a base on balls on June 17 which ended as a 5-0 loss. He hit a single to right field in the third inning and stole second base before the final out, and earned a walk in the eighth inning, but didn't advance further.

On June 18, in a 6-4 loss, Mead went two for four with a run and an RBI. He reached base on a fielder's choice in the first inning and made it to second base before the inning was over, before hitting a single to left field in the third inning, ending up at third base as the inning ended. At the top of the fifth inning, he hit a solo home run to left field, extending what was a 4-2 Biscuits lead at the time.

The final game of the series on June 19 - which ended in a 7-2 loss -saw Mead go two for four with two runs and two RBIs, both instances coming via solo home runs in the first and ninth innings.

AARON WHITEFIELD - ROCKET CITY TRASH PANDAS

Queenslander Aaron Whitefield appeared in all six games for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, in a home series at Toyota Field against the Montgomery Biscuits.

In an 8-2 win on June 14, Whitefield went one for four with a run after hitting a single into right field, stealing second base, and scoring on a Orlando Martinez single into right field.

On June 15, in a 9-0 win, Whitefield went one for four with a run, having hit a lead-of single in the bottom of the sixth inning, advancing to third base on a Preston Palmeiro single, and scoring on a three-run home run by Jeremiah Jackson.

Whitefield went zero for five in a 19-4 loss on June 16, though bounced back on June 17 with a two for five game with two runs in the 5-0 victory.

Whitefield hit a double into left field in the bottom of the first inning, stealing third base, and scoring on a Martinez single, while he had another double to lead-off the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly from Palmeiro.

On June 18, Whitefield went zero for three with two runs and a base on balls in a 6-4 victory. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached base on a throwing error and scored on a Martinez triple to centrfield. He was walked in the seventh inning, and scored on a Martinez double to right field.

In the final game of the series on June 19, he went one for four with a run in the 7-2 victory, hitting a double into right field to lead-off the bottom of the eighth inning, scoring on a Martinez single.

ROBBIE GLENDINNING - NORTHWEST ARKANSAS NATURALS

West Australian Robbie Glendinning appeared in four games for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, in an home series at Arvest Ballpark against the Arkansas Travelers.

On June 14, in a 7-5 win, Glendinning went one for four with a run and an RBI, hitting a single to left field in the fourth inning that scored John Rave, before coming home on a Jake Means double.

In a 5-4 loss on June 15, Glendinning went zero for three, and on June 17, in a 13-2 defeat, went zero for three with a run and a base on balls after a lead-off walk to begin the bottom of the seventh inning, ending up at third base on a Ryan Grotjohn double, scoring on contact by Tucker Bradley.

The final game of the week for Glendinning saw him go zero for three in a 9-0 win on June 18 with a run and a base on balls, being walked in the first inning, and coming home as a result of a walk also.
