DAN COPPEL

Dan is a commercial lawyer by trade, who loves to spend time on his bike, and watching sport and movies. Based in Sydney, he is interested in the leadership and business side of sport. He is one of the founders of Edge of the Crowd.

RORY DENIS

Rory is mad about all things cricket but loves to cover all sport as well as diving into culture, especially on the film and TV front. He is one of the founders of Edge of the Crowd.

JACQUI DODD

Jacqui is a Melbourne based journalist, who writes about sport and culture. You can also hear her on the Ascending Olympus podcast. She is one of the founders of Edge of the Crowd.

DANI BROWN

By day, Dani is a journalist and photographer at her local newspaper, and by night and weekend, she is a live music and sports photographer. She has particular passions for Aussie rules, softball, cricket, all women’s sport, and Aussie music of any genre.

CARMEN CHIN

Carmen is a freelance music and culture writer currently wrapping up their final year as an Arts undergraduate at the University of Melbourne. They love writing about culture, entertainment, global politics and music and have bylines with NME, Teen Vogue, 1883 Magazine and more. ELLIE CLARINGBOLD

Ellie is a writer with an interest in politics, social issues and culture. Based in Victoria, she’s currently studying journalism and marketing at Deakin University. Ellie appears on the Edge of the Election podcast.

Michelle is an emerging fashion/art curator, writer and historian. She is interested in interactions and intersections of art and fashion with high/low culture more broadly.

CHARLOTTE HARBER

Based in Brisbane, Charlotte is a third year Bachelor of Communication/Journalism and Bachelor of Business student at Griffith University, majoring in Sport Management.She works as a communications freelancer and has a passion for all things rugby league, as well as music and pop culture.

MATT HAUG

Matt is a Melbourne based journalist, an avid sports writer covering all aspects in sport. Some of his sporting interests include the AFL, Cricket, Track events, Tennis and many more.

JASON IRVINE

Jason is a writer for Edge of the Crowd who enjoys watching and covering a variety of sports from different leagues and competitions across the country and worldwide, while also having a vested interest in music, especially at a local level, film and TV.

DOMINIQUE JONES

Dominique is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Arts double majoring History and Politics/International Studies. Her interests lie in sports, culture and politics. Her only red flag is that she barracks for the Geelong Cats.

STUART KAVANAGH

 Stuart is an up-and-coming sports journalist from Melbourne, Australia. Along with being the owner of the sports and entertainment website thepyrrhic.com. He is also the co-host of the ‘After Extra Time’ podcast. Football mad, he is always down for debate and discussion at @stueyissickofit on Twitter.

STEPHANIE KILPATRICK

Stephanie has a Masters of Social Policy and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne with majors in Politics & International Studies, and Creative Writing along with a Diploma of Modern Languages (French). Along with being a netball coach, a bench official and a player, Stephanie is now contributing to the Over a Third podcast. Netball obsessed, she is always excited to talk netball at @stephariara on Twitter.

JESS LAVEN

Jess is undertaking a Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Journalism dual degree at The University of Queensland, majoring in Public Relations. She works as a communications freelancer and English tutor and loves reading, writing and rugby league.

CALLUM LOGIE

Callum is a writer and podcaster who studied law and media. He has a keen interest in a variety of sports, particularly basketball, cricket and football. Callum joined EOTC halfway through 2022 and features regularly on the Top Edge Podcast and the Australian World Cup Podcast.

NASIM PATEL

Nasim is a Naarm/Melbourne-based writer, artist, and game developer. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne majoring in both Islamic Studies and Screen & Cultural Studies. Nasim spends most of his free time listening to local hip-hop and playing video games.

LAUREN ROSENBERG

Lauren is an American-based sports journalist who covers WNBA, NCAA basketball, and international women’s basketball. Lauren has a passion for all kinds of sports, having covered NCAA postseason in both volleyball and basketball, and the WNBL while in college. Aside from sports, Lauren is an avid gamer.

JESSIKA ROSS

Jessika is a Sydney based data scientist and journalist. While focusing on women’s sports, she also writes about baseball and Eurovision.

ARIANA SILVER

Born in Australia to Kiwi parents, Ariana is currently studying at La Trobe and Swinburne University. Based in Victoria, Ariana can often be found poring over her favourite bands’ songs, snapping pics in the outdoors, or binging the latest series.
