We write this with a heavy heart. We are signing off from Edge of the Crowd. It has been a fantastic ride for the last couple of years, and it has been a wonderful adventure while we have been working in this space.

Unfortunately, our time in this project is up. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to tell our stories for the last two years, but we are at a point where our work is unsustainable.

After two years telling stories across sport, culture and politics, we have reached a crossroads several times over the last few months, and this is finally the point where we have to say goodbye to our project.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey for the past two years, everyone who has read an article, engaged with our socials, commented on a story or otherwise been a part of our audience.

Thank you also to everyone who has been a part of our team across the journey. From the original believers to our most recent recruits, your contribution has been invaluable.

While we are devastated that we cannot keep the lights on longer, it has been a privilege to write about and cover some of the biggest events and most impactful moments of the past few years. Federal and state elections, FIFA World Cups, Olympics, festivals and so much more, there have been so many highlights.

To all our partners along the way, thank you for your assistance and your belief. We are sad that we cannot continue the relationship beyond that.

Many of our team will continue to be active in this space, so keep an eye out for the familiar names. For the rest of us, keep an eye out anyway, the future is bright.

For now though, thank you and goodbye.

Dan, Jacqui, Rory and the Edge of the Crowd Team
