Australia’s favourite marsupial named band are back for the first time in four years.
In support of their fifth studio album,Fix Yourself, Not the World, the Wombats have a whopping eight shows down under. Starting in Perth, followed by Hobart and then up the east coast, the band’s 2022 Australian tour will conclude on June 17 in Brisbane.
With their Sydney and Canberra shows selling out, the Wombats have announced a second Sydney show, on Sunday, June 12. This second show will include Aussie rockers The Vanns as openers alongside Jaguar Jonze.
Following its release in January,Fix Yourself, Not the Worldwas the #2 album and #1 Vinyl Album on the ARIA charts, reflective of the country’s love for the Liverpudlian trio. Later in the year, The Wombats will return to Australia to co-headline the sold-out Spilt Milk festival.
