Two rounds into the 2022 Super Netball season and COVID-19 has certainly hit hard, but the competition moves on quickly, as this week on Over A Third, Sarah, Ariana and Dan preview the first double-round week of 2022.
There was plenty to digest after Round Two action, with Chelsea Pitman changing dresses to help Giants Netball field a competitive side against the Adelaide Thunderbirds, and the Queensland Firebirds dominating the derby.
The season picks up in a massive way this week, as all teams play twice in five days. Eight games over the weekend and mid-week will give us a strong idea of where teams are at early in the season, and this week we preview where we think they could each be after Round Four.
It will be a good test for the West Coast Fever this week, so far they have been untouchable, but with games against the Firebirds and Melbourne Vixens, will they come crashing back down?
We also talk about the Thunderbirds current position, at 2-0 to start the season, and ask: can they go four from four?
This week's must watch match-up is an international contest between Jhaniele Fowler (Fever) and Eboni Usoro-Brown (Firebirds). Bring the popcorn, because this one is sure to be competitive.
