The rumours are true! Lizzo, the Queen of confidence, has partnered with Peloton to launch a surprise Artist Series today in honour of her new album, Special.
The series was announced on Peloton’s Instagram and Facebook, with a video of Lizzo herself announcing the news while riding her own Peloton Bike.
Lizzo’s program will consist of six classes, including an outdoor run, yoga flow, strength class, tread class and a cycling class, including the first-ever two-for-one ride with Robin Arzón and Cody Rigsby. Each class' duration is 30 minutes, except the outdoor run which is 20 minutes long.
Combining her roots in Houston rap, gospel soul, and classical flute as confidently as she addresses issues of race, sexuality, and body positivity, Grammy Award-winning singer/rapper Lizzo's music abounds in the new series.
With the launch of the new series, Lizzo will join the biggest names in the business including Beyonce, The Beatles, ABBA, Britney Spears and Eminem who have all partnered with Peloton to launch their own Artist Series that aims to inspire and motivate people to get active.
This is the second time Lizzo has partnered with Peloton, with her original Artist Series releasing in 2019. In 2019, a ride with Robin Arzón and a run with Jess Simms, with both instructors returning for this series.
The surprise Artist Series dropped on Friday, July 15 with all classes available on demand. Australians can enjoy the new Lizzo classes on the app free for 30 days, and that’s good as hell.
