Keeping up with the Aussies in the WNBA: The End

All good things must come to an end.

And then there were none. After a stellar season and despite all-round efforts, Ezi Magbegor and Steph Talbot's Seattle Storm fell to the Las Vegas Aces 97-92 in Game 4 of the semi-finals, ending their 2022 season.

It was a game full of emotions from the very beginning. The result of this game means it will mark the last time Briann January and legend Sue Bird hit the court in the WNBA.

The Storm fought so hard all series to aim to advance to the finals, but the stars didn't align, losing the semi-final series 3-1 against the Aces.

The Australian pair of Magbegor and Talbot both played very meaningful minutes but unfortunately it wasn't enough to help steer Seattle to a deciding Game 5.

Magbegor finished Game 4 with three rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 10 minutes, meanwhile Talbot finished with three points, four rebounds, a steal, and a block in 19 minutes on the court.

That's a wrap on the 2022 edition of Keeping up with the Aussies in the WNBA. What an entertaining season it was!
