Lando Norris has become one of the biggest names in Formula One over recent years as his enthusiastic and exciting racing style has brought something new to the sport. With the Australian Grand Prix set to take place between April 7-10, McLaren has teamed up with Alienware to bring an exciting opportunity.
From March 31 to April 13, withDefy Your Boundaries: Take the Wheelat Fortress Melbourne, everyday Australians will be able to complete in a state-of-the-art driving rig and take on the world’s best drivers' lap times.
Fortress CEO and Co-Founder John Satterley spoke on what this partnership means for the business and the exciting opportunity that it presents.
“Formula One is one of the most technologically advanced sports in the world and as younger drivers enter the grid, a love for games goes hand-in-hand with that," he said.

The event is set to give everyday people a chance to experience a small taste of what it’s like to race some of the fastest vehicles on the planet. There are set to be four state-of-the-art rigs set up with prizes available for the fastest lap times of each day.

The rigs are custom built and harness the power of Alienware’s Aurora R13 gaming desktop as well as the 34-inch curved QD-OLED gaming monitor. The racing itself will take place usingF1® 2021 - The Official Video Gameon the Albert Park Circuit.
