The match of the round was an incredible way to start the weekend and has firmly positioned Geelong into competitors for this year's premiership. Gary Rohan got off to a fantastic start before finishing with three goals, a couple of assists and 16 disposals.

With Oliver out, it was Petracca stepping up with 33 touches, ten clearances and a goal of his own to get two votes. The final vote of the match goes to Mitch Duncan, who gained more than 600 metres with 22 touches and a goal.

The Saints continue slipping down the rankings and the ladder with another loss. They can't put two games together, while the Lions got an important win in Melbourne. Dunkley picks up three votes after kicking a goal with 26 touches while laying seven tackles.

Hipwood finished with four goals, an assist and five marks while up forward. The final vote goes to the Saints' Sinclair, who had 36 touches and kicked his own goal while having six clearances.

Fair to say that the Eagles won't be getting any votes from this match in what was a record-level win for the Swans. Heeney is the first vote getting having kicked five goals, had 22 touches, set up four more goals and made five tackles.

Gulden gets the two votes after having 32 touches with three goals and another three goal assists. The final vote goes to Warner, who had 33 touches, kicked a couple of goals and had four clearances. About 10 Sydney players deserve votes from this match.

Fremantle 93 d Essendon 61

Another setback this week for Essendon with a loss over in Perth while Freo still hovers just outside the eight. Caleb Serong was once again a beast through the middle with 32 touches, a goal and ten clearances.

Luke Ryan picks up two votes after having 31 touches, taking 18 marks in the backline while gaining 663 metres. Brayshaw has the final vote of the match, having 29 disposals through the middle while picking up four clearances and a goal.

Collingwood 82 d Adelaide 80

1. Taylor Walker

The Pies are back to the top of the ladder with another tight win, this time over the Crows, who are certainly in the top eight teams this season. Daicos again extends his lead in the count with 37 touches through the backline while picking up eight clearances.

Dawson sticks around in second in the count having 35 touches, five clearances, and three goal assists. Taylor Walker picked up another bag of five goals this season, so slides in with another vote.

The final match of the round saw the mighty Suns get a big win over the rebuilding Hawks. Fiorini gets three votes for the first time this season after having 35 touches, seven clearances and gaining over 600 metres.

Anderson is again in the votes after a two-goal and 28-disposal match. The final vote goes to Rosas after kicking three goals with 15 disposals while playing up forward.
